Show your tools
A Talk by Hauro, at Unconference
Abstract
Everyone uses all sorts of (command line) tools to make life easier and get things done. The aim of this event is to present/mention your favorite tools so others become aware of them.
Main Description
The aim of this session is to get to know new tools that are available but (possibly) not known to too many people. (The kind of tools where you thought “I wish I had new this earlier!” when you discovered them.)
This is an open round where every participant can present one or more (command line) tool. This is simply done by naming the tool and saying two or three sentences about what the tool will do and what kind of problems you can solve with it. We will collect a list of tools so everyone can look them up again after the session.
Note: We will go in rounds, so if you want to present more than one tool that is fine but you've to wait until it's your turn again.
