A Session by Ujjwal Thaakar, at Main Conference

Abstract

Biohacking raises a bunch of ethical questions unprecedented in the history of mankind. Here we'll have an open debate on the ethics of biohacking and it's profound impact that will drive the future of humanity.

Main Description

When people first hear about and understand what biohacking is and what biohackers do, their first reactions is “It's wrong”. Humanity is sailing unchartered waters. Questions like what is life, what it means to be alive and whether fiddling with nature is a good idea or not are staring us in the face. It's time people come together to debate the ethics of the biohacking community, whether the pros outweigh the cons and what will it mean for us as a society of the future.
