A Workshop by @@Your Name/Nick@@, at Main Conference
A Pop-up makerspace is a portable makerspace that can be setup for the duration of the conference. I can bring the material for the structure, hand tools, some power tools, electronics components and printed resources for the makerspace. People can make electronics, robotics, woodworking and other projects at the pop-up makerspace.
I run a makerspace called Banana House in Delhi. We have conducted workshops on electronics, robotics, woodworking, 3D Printing etc. at the makerspace. We have also conducted workshops in schools, colleges and at events. The idea of the pop-up makerspace is to provide tools, components and resources to people at an event and let them experiment, learn and make projects on their own. Small hands-on workshops and training sessions can be conducted at the pop-up makerspace but ideally people should make things on their own or collaboratively using the resources available.
